Professional HD camera
The Lumens BC-602 is a professional-level HD box camera. Its 1/2.5” 8.57MP CMOS sensor produces crystal clear pictures even in low light conditions. Users have full control over aperture, white balance, and exposure settings to deliver the images and colors your production requires. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and 3D noise reduction provide superior performance in high contrast environments and where lighting is variable.
Ideal for AV, Broadcast and Video Workflows
BC-602 outputs video via its Ethernet, HDMI, and 3G-SDI interfaces. This flexibility means that the camera can join IP networks, send video to recorders and encoders, and connect to video switchers and mixing desks. Small and lightweight, BC-602 can be suspended from the ceiling or attached to a wall, giving the user versatile mounting options.
Triple stream video
Equipped with Lumens’ triple stream technology, the BC-602 encodes multiple IP outputs in HEVC and H.264 formats, tailored for your network environment. Technicians can route each stream as appropriate. For example, the high-quality HEVC stream can be routed to in-venue screens and recorders; high-resolution H264 stream can be viewed by users via a CDN such as YouTube or Facebook. A low bandwidth version enables confidence monitoring, locally or remotely.
Secure Streaming
As well as supporting RTSP, RTMP, and MPEG-TS, BC-602 generates secure RTMPS and SRT streams. These encrypted outputs are increasingly supported by video delivery networks and decoders, because of the level of privacy and content protection they offer. SRT is ideal for low latency delivery over the Internet and wide area networks at lower bitrates, giving viewers an excellent user experience even over poor connections.
Power and Control
BC-602 is loaded is designed to be easy to install and integrate. It includes audio in and out ports, RS-232 in and out, and DC power in. Flexibility does not stop there. Camera control is via RS-232 or over IP. Camera power is via the supplied DC adapter or PoE (Power over Ethernet).
